TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

What You Trade On

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The execution is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

The FSRA Question

Now, the part you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. But inform your decision.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding.
